Because of these difficulties, La Distesa winery decided to release only two labels, a white wine and a red wine, obtained from a blend of all surviving grapes. The white varieties grown by the estate, located in Cupramontana, in the province of Ancona, include Trebbiano, Malvasia, Pecorino and especially Verdicchio. These grapes are grown using a sustainable approach and vinified through non-invasive winemaking practices.

Distesa 'Ventitrè' Bianco is derived from a blend of white grapes grown in a certified organic system, without the use of synthetic chemicals, on clay-limestone matrix soils.
