Cabernet Franc Alla Costiera 2012

The Cabernet Franc by Alla Costiera is a Cabernet Franc in the purity that is shown in all its features herbal notes; aromas typical of the grape, to which is added a beautiful peppery in the end which makes it very elegant, beautiful personality and persistence. We are in the Euganean Hills, in the west side, to Vo’. This is the terroir native of Filippo Gamba, a passionate winemaker who decided to take the road of respecting nature and territoriality; a winery that follows the practices of biological philosophy and who depends on the production of wines dynamic, unapproved, able to evolve from year to year, to give new perfumes and express as best as possible the performance of the season and the soil, that here is of limestone and clay. The Cabernet Franc by Alla Costiera follows ranking red winemaking, but Filippodecided not to add any yeast to trigger fermentation; uses only indigenous yeasts, naturally present on the grapes; also the choice of refinement is done to preserve the characteristics of the grape and enhance its peculiarities: at least 10 months in glass concrete vats and malolactic that starts and turning course.
