Franciacorta Brut Millesimato Montina 2019

The Brut Millesimato is the child of the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes of a single vintage and is a Franciacorta characterized by a unique and unrepeatable personality, reflecting in the glass the peculiarities of the vintage. The long aging on yeasts, at least 48 months, gives the bouquet a very mature and evolved profile, with tertiary notes of refined elegance and deep persistence. A Metodo Classico for those who are not satisfied with the standard taste, but every year want to know and taste a different and multifaceted Franciacorta, particularly suitable for gastronomic pairings even of a certain importance.

La Montina's Franciacorta Millesimato comes from grapes of the same vintage, from a selection of the best plots on the estate, which historically give the most intense and aromatically rich fruit. The cuvée is composed of Chardonnay (60%), which gives elegance and finesse, and Pinot Noir (40%), which brings structure and power. After manual harvesting is completed, the grapes undergo a very soft pressing to extract only the fine flower must. After white vinification of the base wines and aging for a few months, the cuvée is created and drawn. The wine then rests on the lees for a minimum period of 48 months before dégorgement.
